Quentin LEJEUNE

Quentin is a climate scientist who has contributed to research activities on a range of topics and also brings experience in providing scientific support to several stakeholders. He obtained a PhD from ETH Zurich in 2016, where he investigated the effects of land-use changes on climate by comparing results from climate models and observational data. He then worked for the climate think tank Climate Analytics where he contributed to research on various topics, mostly on the physical basis for climate change and climate impacts but also adaptation and global mitigation scenarios for the land-use sector. He co-coordinated the interdisciplinary European research projects LAMACLIMA and PROVIDE, and also led the development of online tools to visualise climate impact data at national and subnational level for non-academic audiences (Climate Impact Explorer, Climate Risk Dashboard). He has also acted as a knowledge broker for various stakeholders at the national to local level by collaborating for example with delegates from Least Developed Countries in IPCC and UNFCCC negotiations or with local authorities of the cities of Berlin and Lisbon. Quentin joined bclimate in September 2025.
