José Pablo Terán has a background in civil and water resources engineering. He joined the department in 2024 as a PhD researcher under the supervision of Prof. Ann Van Griensven. 

He is interested in investigating the impacts of global change on surface water's quantity and quality from a continental to a global context through the development and application of a large-scale hydrological model.
