Driven by her deep commitment to combatting climate change, Magali Ponds became part of the Water and Climate department at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). With a Master's in Hydrology and Environmental Engineering from TU Delft (2022), Magali is now pursuing her Ph.D., unraveling the role of glaciers as water towers in a changing climate. Her research primarily involves modeling the impacts of climate change on glacier dynamics and how these changes affect both water systems and society. Under the guidance of Harry Zekollari, she's dedicated to making meaningful contributions to environmental science.
