BeachWatch System

BeachWatch is a part of CoastSnap a global citizen science project to capture our changing coastlines. BeachWatch is to monitor beach health and morphological changes at high temporal frequency by involving public/volunteers using their smartphones or cameras, and to build a community database.  The snapshot beach images taken from the public are analyzed and to provide information on multi-barred beach response to changing weather, wave conditions, and storm occurrence.
