A multi-pronged approach on transforming WASH and climate resilient agriculture for sustainable future. The challenges of inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) systems and food security in the Gamo Highlands of Ethiopia require a multifaceted solution. This project addresses these issues through a comprehensive approach encompassing research, education, outreach, and capacity building. Our research investigates the root causes and dynamics of these problems and provides a foundation for effective interventions. Targeted training empowers local stakeholders and end users, and ensures they have the knowledge and skills to implement solutions. Systematic outreach is crucial for sharing evidence-based scientific knowledge, disseminating findings, communicating practical strategies, and engaging with communities to foster sustainable change.
