- Listen to Groundwater

Groundwater flow models often exhibit important uncertainties related to input parameters and boundary conditions, and reducing these uncertainties is challenging if models are only calibrated with conventional groundwater level measurements. The Listen to Groundwater project aims to combine novel locally installed groundwater flux sensors developed by iFLUX with distributed measurements which will be developed during this project by VUB’s B-PHOT team. These measurements will be integrated into groundwater flow models to assess the impact on model uncertainties.
