Process-based models for climate impact attribution across sectors (PROCLIAS)
Process-based models for climate impact attribution across sectors (PROCLIAS)
The PROCLIAS project addresses the fragmentation and lack of coordination in the climate impact research community by developing common protocols, harmonized datasets, and a joint understanding for conducting cross-sectoral, multi-model climate impact studies. In collaboration with ISIMIP, the project aims to enable attribution of impacts from recent climate changes and provide robust projections of future climate impacts at regional and global scales. The project's focus includes key interactions between climate impacts across sectors, the cumulative effects of these impacts, attribution of impacts to climate change, and quantification of uncertainties. By fostering coordination and networking, PROCLIAS seeks to facilitate scientific and political progress in understanding and addressing climate change impacts.
